Virginia luxury packaging provider plans $34M HQ expansion

Infinity Global, a manufacturer of  solutions for global luxury retailers, plans to invest $34 million to expand its   announced Thursday.

The investment is expected to more than double the company’s Virginia workforce, creating 150 jobs.

“Infinity Global is proud to embark on its next chapter of growth by expanding our headquarters in Danville, where our journey began more than 20 years ago,” Infinity Global Chairman and CEO Ron Palmer said. “This  allows us to further strengthen our team and enhance our ability to deliver innovative, sustainable luxury packaging solutions to clients around the world.”

A request for further details on the project was not immediately returned.

Founded in Danville in 2005, Infinity Global works with retailers in more than 70 countries to design and source custom, sustainable packaging for products such as high-end fashion and jewelry. The company’s website lists offices in Singapore and the Netherlands.

The  worked with the City of Danville to secure the project. Youngkin approved a $750,000 grant from the Commonwealth Opportunity Fund to assist Danville. Infinity Global also will receive assistance with job creation from the Virginia Talent Accelerator Program, which provides training and recruitment services at no cost as an  incentive to eligible companies.
