Governor Ralph Northam joined local officials today at the Morgan Olson plant in Ringgold as the company announced the facility is now operational.
In October of 2019, Morgan Olson announced it would be investing $57.8 million to establish a new walk-in step van assembly operation in the former IKEA plant. The company took control of the facility in March and in three short months have hired over 300 employees with the first trucks already making their way off the assembly line.
